Lady Isabella Lodge 10017

The Lady Isabella Lodge started the year with the initiation of 2 new Brothers. Bro Paul Crystal CP carried out his first initiations, initiating Bro Patrick Ayres and Bro Christopher Seed and welcomes them to the order.

This is after a successful 2011 with 5 initiations with the loss of just one of them in the year. There is how ever pleanty of room in the lodge room for even more new Brothers.

The lodge is now waiting to move to there new premises on the 7th of March. Due to the New Inn in Laxey closing the Lodge will be move just down the road to the Bridge Inn where it moved from a few years ago.

We now look forward to welcoming all comers over the remainder of the year to our new Lodge room.

The raising of Bro Limb and Burt

to the Third Degree

The Victoria Lodge 5381 were the host lodge for Brother Steve Limb and Bro Les Burt CP's to be raised to the Third Degree on Saturday 10th October 2009. There was a good turn out to Honour of the two Brothers and Brother Shawn Gilmartin ROH PPGP 1998 carried out a perfect ceremony assisted by the Isle of Mans Knights Chapter who's President Bro David Martin ROH handing over the lodge for the ceremony to Brother Shawn Gilmartin ROH PPGP 1998 with Bro Denis Kermode KOM the Director of Ceremonies. Both Brother Steve Limb CP and Bro Les Burt CP were Sponsored by Bro Neville Kaighen ROH who gave an eloquent account of the Brothers achievements in their Buffaloe Careers. On returning to the Lodge and having been given the signs and passwords appertaining to the degree, Brother Steve Limb KOM and Brother Les Burt KOM were toasted by Bro Neville Kaighen ROH and the rest of the Lodge - Hail the Baby Knights. The lodge closed to the Club downstairs to music and buffet and a great night was had by all. It only leave us to say congratulations to Bro Steve Limb KOM and Bro Les Burt KOM, and to thank the Victoria Lodge for a good evening.
