Lady Isabella Lodge 10017

 

 

The Lady Isabella Lodge started the year with the initiation of 2 new Brothers. Bro Paul Crystal CP carried out his first initiations, initiating Bro Patrick Ayres and Bro Christopher Seed and welcomes them to the order.

This is after a successful 2011 with 5 initiations with the loss of just one of them in the year. There is how ever pleanty of room in the lodge room for even more new Brothers.

.

The lodge is now waiting to move to there new premises on the 7th of March. Due to the New Inn in Laxey closing the Lodge will be move just down the road to the Bridge Inn where it moved from a few years ago.

We now look forward to welcoming all comers over the remainder of the year to our new Lodge room.

    The Passing of Bro Jimmy Gribbin

    1923 to 2009

    Its my sad duty to inform you of the passing of Bro Jimmy Gribbin of the Pride of Mona Lodge. Jimmy was a career kagaroo member of his lodge with 23 years service. A very active Brother to the last. Jimmy served in the Royal Navy in World War 2 in the Naval Patrol Service and was a member of that association and went to gatherings each year the UK to join his old service comrades.

    He will be taken to St Mary's Church on wednesday evening at 7pm for reception and the service will be carried out at midday on thursday at the church by Father Brian. Followed by a full Buff ceremony.

    In God Hands.
