Lady Isabella Lodge 10017

The Lady Isabella Lodge started the year with the initiation of 2 new Brothers. Bro Paul Crystal CP carried out his first initiations, initiating Bro Patrick Ayres and Bro Christopher Seed and welcomes them to the order.

This is after a successful 2011 with 5 initiations with the loss of just one of them in the year. There is how ever pleanty of room in the lodge room for even more new Brothers.

The lodge is now waiting to move to there new premises on the 7th of March. Due to the New Inn in Laxey closing the Lodge will be move just down the road to the Bridge Inn where it moved from a few years ago.

We now look forward to welcoming all comers over the remainder of the year to our new Lodge room.

On 13 July PGL made a visit to Yn Droghad Lodge and what a marvellous evening of fun it turned out to be.
As well as PGL Officers there was a visit of three brethren from the Hope Lodge Castletown. Considering the terrible weather that evening, the turnout was heartwarming and this added to what was a great night out for all concerned.
        I as PGP offered to pass over accepting the Royal Chair from lodge WP. and was therefor able to have a bit of fun myself. I rarely get a chance to "have a night off", on these occaisions so it was a very welcome change.
        The brethren of Yn Droghad made us very welcome in the true spirit of Buffaloism and as well as the entertainment, treated us to a nice bit of grazing. The evening went so well that it was around 10.30 when we eventually closed with as link of thirteen!
        My sincere thanks to all PGL Officers who attended and WP Jeff Robertson, officers and brethren of Yn Droghad for a terrific evening and I wish you all the very best for the future.
