Lady Isabella Lodge 10017

The Lady Isabella Lodge started the year with the initiation of 2 new Brothers. Bro Paul Crystal CP carried out his first initiations, initiating Bro Patrick Ayres and Bro Christopher Seed and welcomes them to the order.

This is after a successful 2011 with 5 initiations with the loss of just one of them in the year. There is how ever pleanty of room in the lodge room for even more new Brothers.

The lodge is now waiting to move to there new premises on the 7th of March. Due to the New Inn in Laxey closing the Lodge will be move just down the road to the Bridge Inn where it moved from a few years ago.

We now look forward to welcoming all comers over the remainder of the year to our new Lodge room.

PG Primo visits Lady Isabella

6th of April it was turn of The Lady Isabella Lodge 10017 to be visited by the Provincial Grand Primo Bro Steve Limb KOM along with IPPGL Bro Billy Littlewood KOM and his Deputy Bro Dave Brown KOM , who was introduced by the PG Cham Bro George Stevenson to the WP Bro Ron Faragher. Bro Ron presented the PGP with a cheque for his appeal before vacating the royal chair and handing over the conduct to the PGP. There was a raffle for his appeal of a bottle of whisky which Bro Denis the c/sec won. There was also a Lodge card finished which resulted the the PG Cham Bro Steve won and was presented with a Lady Isabella Lodge Jewel. Handing back the Lodge to the WP Bro Bro Ron he thanked the Lodge for a great evening and for the support of the lodge to his appeal. Bro Ron thanked the PGP and his officers for the visit and asked the PGP along with his officers to remain after the close for a Buffet.
