Lady Isabella Lodge 10017

The Lady Isabella Lodge started the year with the initiation of 2 new Brothers. Bro Paul Crystal CP carried out his first initiations, initiating Bro Patrick Ayres and Bro Christopher Seed and welcomes them to the order.

This is after a successful 2011 with 5 initiations with the loss of just one of them in the year. There is how ever pleanty of room in the lodge room for even more new Brothers.

The lodge is now waiting to move to there new premises on the 7th of March. Due to the New Inn in Laxey closing the Lodge will be move just down the road to the Bridge Inn where it moved from a few years ago.

We now look forward to welcoming all comers over the remainder of the year to our new Lodge room.

Easter 2012

Well the winter is drawing to a close & we are all eagerly awaiting the annual invasion at Easter from our fellow brethren & their wives who travel from all parts of the UK to enjoy a full weekend of fun & entertainment. Lodges, socials & daily trips round our Island visiting museums, places of scenic beauty, shopping malls & vintage transport rides. The organisation of this popular event is organised by Bro. Howell Davies ROH GLMC & his good lady wife Margaret. The coach from over there picks up at various points & travels over on the ferry to arrive at the Hydro Hotel on Douglas sea front where the guests will enjoy 4 nights of B B & Evening meals. The coach is then employed to transport everyone to all the organised events over the weekend.
